Cacao Hazelnut Butter

My kids loved that sugary, palm-oil ridden chocolate hazelnut spread. You know the one. As I was working with cacao, I had the sense I could make something with integrity, a spread I'd be proud to have in my pantry, and they'd love slather on their toast. So I began experimenting, modulating and iterating, much to their delight. They couldn't get their sticky hands off of it.

Our luscious cacao hazelnut butter is the result of that long process. It's decadent and full, just a little sweet but not saccharine, chocolate-forward but balanced. Our 70% single origin chocolate meets silky organic hazelnut butter, made from hazelnuts sourced from our local Nookachamps farm, and light roasted for sweetness.
